Blogger Gardening Jones is upfront about how she has partnered with several companies as an affiliate. She lets her readers know that if they purchase any of the products she recommends using her links, she’ll make a little money from the sale.
You partner with the company that sells a product or service you’d like to recommend. As their partner, you are their affiliate (sometimes referred to as an associate, partner, internet marketer or affiliate marketer).
As fasr as I know it doesn’t matter. I haven’t heard of any foliters that can ping your for simultaneously releasing vids ( Like it might if you suddenly released dozens of ARTICLES pointed to a site in a day).
Advertisers also will be given the option to specify whether they would like their in-stream ads to appear on Facebook itself, or across the range of websites and apps in Facebook’s Audience Network ad network product. They can also choose both.
When you will become affiliated with a product, you must target your audience and traffic source too. It can be Adwords, forums, niche relevant blogs or it can even be Facebook. I would like to suggest you not to rely on Search engines like google for traffic. It can make you frustrated. If you get traffic from it, take it as a bonus. 🙂
Chris I have a Facebook page that has over 3,000 visitors/members. I was thinking of some type of residual income and wondering if you think it would work for a Facebook page simply just adding links to Amazon and my maybe even products that could possibly pertain to some of the discussions of the page.

Thanks for this post. I too have been thinking about this whole affiliate marketing idea and wondering whether it would put off my readers. I want to give my readers honest and neutral advice (I write a math blog) but there are genuinely some products which I feel I can recommend, so why not make some money if I’m going to recommend them anyway. The only problem is making sure that I can be truly neutral and be as enthusiastic about products I like which don’t have an affiliate scheme.
In August of 2011, I started my personal finance blog with the hopes of teaching people how to save money after reading a magazine that featured a personal finance website in one of their articles. Due to that website, I became extremely interested in personal finance blogs, and my interest in blogging just grew from there. Before August of 2011, I didn’t even know that blogs existed. I didn’t know what they were, I didn’t know that they could make money, or anything like that.
5)I expanded that one article into a whole separate section within my broader website, and I used my reader’s questions to fulfill their needs, adding more guides, all for free and all the guides where extremely detailed and useful.
